Yeppers. I absolutely get it. Same here. Thyroid make a person have thick skin if your thyroid is slow. I have to pinch some fat together and poke it in. I have very sensitive skin so I feel everything. Sometimes the upper butt works or leg. do you have your needle on an angle. If so, that is a huge reason why. It has to be straight. That's what my doc told me when i said it hurt. Hope this helps!
My injections hurt occasionally. I inject into the abdominal fat just under my belly button. Some days I feel nothing! Some days it does hurt. I just do it quicker and get it over with. Then I massage the area a bit. THere have even been times when I feel the pain all day. That's usually when you've hit a little nerve. Keep trying. It might also be cause you're mentally dreading injections every day. So you're not as relaxed. Just a thought. Hope you're better today!
You said you're trying different spots, but keep moving it around, and go in fast. Like a dart, and inject slowly. I also warm my in my hands before giving it to myself. I use my stomach the most - covered in stretch marks and I feel it the least in my stomach. Don't try to slowly push the needle through the skin, and don't worry about trying to aspirate if you are using diabetic needles. I don't pinch either, just aim and poke in a quick motion. Then slowly inject.
I am doing the hcg drops, not the homepathic ones. My friend does the injections. She asks, are you rotating arms or the area and said you should test your spot with a prick of the needle; if it doesn't feel right find another spot. Hope this helps.
