@gg32068 We are pioneers. I also worked on the construction of Walt Disney World from 1968-1971 and a couple of years beyond. Worked under Joe Fowler, Don Edgren, John Zovich and Bill Moss. Great project!

I can't believe they did it in less than 1 year. O.o I wonder what kind of show they had like fantasmic or the fireworks?

@dancaylor Disneyland isn't the begginning of Walt Disney World. Disneyland was made, Walt didn't like they cheap diners and motels just outside of the park, and scoured the country for a place to start again. Disneyland itself didn't lead to the construction of Walt Disney World, but (mainly) everything popping up just outside of the park. Walt probaly wouldn't have thought of finding a location for a new park if it wasn't for that.

@gg32068 Hey Mr. gg That Mr. Fowler was he the Admiral - ex Navy guy ? That's what I read in some history books. Anyways I was wondering if you had any old construction photos I enjoy looking at them. Thanks.

They are talking about Disneyland yes, but that is the beginning of Disneyworld...hence the Making of Disney world. ;)
I didn't make the title anyway, I just copied it from the actual title of the show.
