It's not always about the company making the movie. Sometimes it's about the people making it. I highly doubt that Disney will have a lot to do with this other than sets and distributing it. Bruckenheimer Productions is the company behind this. Maybe instead of blaming Disney you should put blame on Jerry Bruckenheimer or Ubisoft. Tell that to the other people who are blaming Disney.

Looks like they're taking elements from the entire sands of time trilogy and the more recent game and trying to make the next Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise out of it.

I'm actually more interested in the movie now. While they aren't following the story of the games, they do seem to have a few things right (except for the walljump scene, that just looks forced).
