wmVista 0.2 Demo

wmVista is currently in the final prebeta stage. This software was created by Trent Seed. Features: *Attractive looking Vista layer that runs on top of the WM6 framework. *Desktop with movable shortcuts *Similar menu structure for easy reference. *Vista sound Scheme *Gadgets! All of that information that is crammed onto the windows mobile today screen will have a gadget that one can either enable or disable. *Free of Charge! Enjoy! The first Vista "port" for Windows Mobile 5/6/6.1!

The public beta will be available Januaray 2009. This download link will be posted on the web, including in this video description.

*UPDATE: 1/31/09*
Some bad news people. The beta was scheduled to be released later this very Saturday afternoon, with only a few minor touches to be added. However, as of this morning, my AT&T Tilt no longer works. It cannot turn on, and when I plug it it to charge, I get the red light of death. Therefore, wmVista Public Beta will have to be temporarily postponed until either the Tilt has been fixed, or until I purchase a new windows mobile 6 phone. Either of these options should be completed within one to two weeks into February. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Looking to put this out by the 20th of this month at the latest. Thanks for holding in there guys. My tilt is continuing to flake out on me, which is the only reason for the delayed release.

u dont have to worry about bricking your phone because it is only an application, not a new operating system. download the cab, and transfer it to your phone. Open up your phone's file browser, navigate to the file, and open it. It will do the rest. Good luck!

depends. Would people prefer me update this software to reflect Windows 7, or contiune on Vista? Changing the themes to windows seven would only be an additional days worth of work.

did you make a version for wvga? probably not.. but you should, most of the new devices have wvga. mine too and i really want to use this now. anyway, good work. the first vista port that acually isnt a wisbar theme. keep up the good work bro, there are not many people out there who can do stuff like this

i installed it to my WM i-mate JAMin 5 but when i open it, it says it required a newer version of NETCF where do i download it?!
