i consider bruce springsteen's i'm on fire a real song on the verge of passion, the game of wanting someone in its very beginning. also burning, dead sexy in a way. i really like bat for lashes too but her version didn't make me think all the above. it was a great performance, kind of romanticly weak in comparison with the vibe i get from the original. just felt mooding and more depressing. anyway it passes tho. the version that should disappear from planet earth is actually electrelane's. lame

@Dorotheabrooks93 The Bruce Springsteen version is about being full of love and lust and a real desire to do something, but not necessarily having someone to full this burning desire with.

If Bat wanted to compare or be compared to Bruce she wouldn't have done the song at half timing. Its an amasing rendition and this sounds just like the album version. That's called talent! Stfu haters!

If you don't like Bat For Lashes, then you won't like this. Obviously. Does no one understand the concept of a cover song?? And as far as BFL goes, this is beautiful and haunting.
