Fire and Ice by Robert Frost narrated by myself

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

  • sorry, it's "But if it had to perish twice" or "But if I had to perish twice" and isn't it "To say that for destruction?."

  • i don't care how i go as long as it were fast and painless.

  • Beautiful job. Love Robert Frost. He's one of my favorites..

  • Robert Frost had it right, he also said:

"A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it begins to rain."

    :)

  • If I'll ever go or perish

it wont be on ice or fire

it will be on fine clouds

    all cocooned in fine silk

    vanishing within the shroud
