  • I loved this idea and it sounds like it would be easy even for someone like me who doesn't have much experience making flowers. Thanks I'm going to try this.

  • @rosiecooper1261 I am so glad you are going to try it - it is super fun and will give you GREAT results! I am glad that the way I explained it gave you the confidence to KNOW that you can do it too! Have a great week!

  • great tut, tfs!!

  • @KraftyKatsy Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed! Hope you are feeling better!

  • How many of the larger size do you use before going on to the next size?

  • @marylizart Thanks for stopping by. Because I was alternating between tissue paper and book paper it was pretty random...but I always used at least 2 pieces of tissue paper and one piece of book paper of each size. So when I use JUST tissue paper I use 3-4 of each size because they will make fuller looking flowers. Hope that helps! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  • great Idea,,thanks for sharing ,,real pretty flowers!!

  • @marylizart I was going from large to small -- but I was alternating between tissue paper and book pages - which may have made it seem like I was alternating sizes as well. They are super fun - and make your projects really pop.

  • Luv this! Were you going from small to large and then back to small?

  • @tuffytuffers For sure you can cut them by hand....or if you have a scallop punch -- that will work too!
