...And wow! Before, I never dared to hoop around my buttocks and thighs, because it´s so painful when it hits the hip bones. (My hoop is that with the massage balls inside which can hurt so much.) Today I challenged myself!! :))

I am using a 2.9 kg weighted hoop. I usually hoop around my waist, for toning muscles and gain endurance in general. Have been doing that for several months now and got really strong there, I think I could carry twins easily :) Today I am so happy, it was the first day that I was able to lower the hoop to the position you show here, and I could hoop for around 20 min out of 50 (the rest 30min was around my waist as usual).

Thank you so much!!! I was wondering how to do that... everyone has tutorials to go from 2 to 1 leg, but not how to start...

In YouTube, go add this string of text: /group/HoopStarts to the URL and you'll find some info about starts and transitions there, including how to get the hoop from the floor up to your knees.

Mine is 36'' I can't move up a size because of my other tricks. Any advice?

My guess is that your hoop will be good for some neck and hand hooping, but if you really want to get your hoop groove on, you'll do well to get yourself an adult-sized hula hoop. Try hooping dot org for a list of hoop makers. Good luck!
