@gujjugal100 hey thanks for sharing this. My khichiya turned out great the next time i tried. I think i used to cook the dough for a long time. So I made sure and did not over cook my dough and the khichiya papad did not crack :)
I was so excited when they dried without breaking and they taste even better. But i shall keep this tip in mind if I need to use it in future !! THanks once again :)

i had the same issue and i tried this...just would like to share that in India, some people mix a little bit of sabudana in rice when they send it to get grinded...that provides a good bonding if your rice are old..so we can soak a bit of sabudana and blend and add to rice flour while making khichu.. my papads tutned out great this way..no difference in taste though..

Hi
If you have sturdy processor only or use meat grinder or simply wrap your dough in plastic and walk on it hard. It is very interesting...my mother in law used to live in Zambia many years back and they used to wrap khichiya dough in big sheets or plastic and then slowly run car wheels on it and dough is ready in no time...I do not recommend thoug...if you making small amount you can just do with your hand or feet...enjoy!
