A lonely Christmas.

Two days before Christmas, I'm stuck here on the ground.
The planes they stay grounded, the snow is falling down.
The waitress is pouring me, another cup of tea,
For nobody knows how lonely Christmas can be.
People in the bar, have themselves a ball
The lady in the corner, well she is loving it all,
I'm staring into the night, I guess I ain't gonna be home tonight.

The tree is fully lit, and the angle on top,

The bar is still crowded, we are awaiting our flight,

And here is where we will spent our Christmas night.

Everybody is calling home, and saying something nice.
The lady at the gate, announces more delays,
I guess here is where we will be on Christmas day.
