The Vegetarian Librarian travels from Chicago to St. Louis, Missouri to make Triple-B Pancakes with our good friend RØB Severson! Get the recipe at http://www.myspace.com/thevegetarianlibrarian
@houseboyJohnnyZu It is one of the great mysteries of all-time. How did these pancakes turn green? It must be SQUID POWER! Saint Louis, by the way, was founded by two Frenchmen!
Good job, guys. How did the pancakes become green? Did I miss that part? Is it because St. Louis was founded by an Irish woman? Because of the green vanilla?
Rob, it might be time for a pancake bake off. I have made a few pancakes in my time, and you can mix the add-ins into the batter. You just have to scoop from the bottom of the bowl. You may be the pancake master, but I am the pancake daddy.
Yeah Steve, pretty ballsy of you to question the Master's skills! How would YOU do it? Add them to the batter to begin with? Then they all sink to the bottom and the only pancakes with any blueberries or butterscotch are like the last two pancakes you make. Don't push them in? Then the blueberries/butterscotch burn because they're in direct contact with the griddle. Gotta have that batter buffer in-between for optimal locking-in of taste and freshness! I'm curious to know what you think.

I don't like leaving the distribution of my add-ins to chance (and, I prefer to pour directly from the bowl rather than scoop out).
But heck, there's no wrong way to make a pancake as long as it's a pancake, if you ask me.

I dunno, he IS the Pancake Master! You probably oughta just trust him.

I am not completely convinced about the "sprinkle on top and push in" strategy.
