Bed farming?

Sometime when you go to sleep, monster will spawn near you and walk you up.
I was playing in this new world and happen make a set up that was causing the monster to be kill.

I believe it still those in some situation. It's always useful when u need bonemeal in a new world, but will only work a few time before usally letting you sleep.

also, i thought that beds were supposed to be your new spawn-point? (i'll go back and check on Notch's Tumblr after). hasnt worked out for me...
