Sorry but conspiracy theories in overdrive here. You conflate some truths about the nature of power - transnational corporations wanting more and more - with sensible approaches to weening civilization off fossil fuels, like carbon taxes. Global warming is real, it is the greatest threat, followed by peak oil to civilization.

You are correct the situation in Iraq, it is about securing the oil for American intrests. Afghanistan is about securing the oil reserves, the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline, and the Opium production but that does not make it right.

Again you are correct in that oil has brought many good things. However oil is also destroying our environment along with coal and other carbon based fuels. You are again correct in that the problem will not be fixed by wind or solar power but it can be solved by using water as fuel. It is basic high school chemistry. H2O 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen both are flammable but water is very abundant and very easy to get.

The big energy companies do not want that. They would be made irrelevant by the system. Again you are partially correct when you said the Bush administration has a secret plan to control the oil. Well the only problem with that statement is that it is not a secret; everyone knows about it and sees it. It is going on right in front of everyones face.

It is true that a pro global warming agenda can be seen in the media. You see it relatively often in the MSM, especially considering the idiocy of talking about a debatable scientific subject like it is proven beyond a doubt.

However, you simply do not hear that much about peak oil in the MSM. You do hear a fair amount in the alternative press, but that is an entirely different animal, it is not controlled by the establishment. It looks to me like they are hiding peak oil, not pushing it.
