cooterrob you are not alone. My cousin had a lot of the same problems when he came back from his first tour. I almost with he would have stopped while he was a head because it was much worse the second time he came back. I understand why he went both times and if not for the fact I have a bum leg I would have been with him. After all the stories I have heard from him and others and seeing the tears from the ones they can't tell me I feel the need to say THANK U for doing what I could not.

i think that the military deserves way more respect then what they get. they risk their lives for us and you sit here in a free country and just complain. That is so rude! As soon as i turn 18 i am joining the army cause i know it is the right thing for me to do. When i join its not to say haha now show me respect or anything. it to fight for the people who deserve it , but alot of the people dont deserve what they have. you dont know what you have till its gone. SHOW SOME DAMN RESPECT

(cont.) talk about the way they think things should be. sometimes things turn into God awful shitty messes, at least truly support those who clean it up for you. we need to start coming together in this country, sometimes you have to put your little opinions asside for something more important. i don't know why nobody wants to do that anymore.

one reason i love his songs about this stuff so much is because he's just about the only one to emphasize that people can't just say yeah i support our troops, then in the same breath say they disagree with everything they put their lives at stake for. im going to be joining, rotc i think, engineers or armor. (Army). it pisses me off when people sit back and

The first thing I did after my first tour in the "sand box" was invest in Tylenol PM. Trying to sleep was the hardest thing for me. Every little noise woke me up. I had to teach my brain to ignore the the little noises again.

Man going places as simple as Target or Walmart felt so odd. Being around people that had no idea what had seen felt a weird feeling.

Having that heightened Sitational Awareness got me for a while.

Well thanks for posting the song...
