This DIY Vitamin C tutorial is based on a very famous (and expensive - $215) serum. it cost me around $10 to make.

The serum contains 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% Vitamin E and 0.5% Ferulic Acid.

This recipe is from the amazing Natasha at Skin Essential Actives. I take no credit for her genius (and it is genius).

Please support her at: http://stores.skinessentialactives.com/StoreFront.bok

Please visit this post to see a full rundown of the serum, and how it works:

  • Plagiarism: - to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own - to use (another's production) without crediting the source - to commit literary theft - to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.

  • @KatluvsDIY Sorry, can you please explain where the plagiarism has occurred? I have credited SEA with the recipe, which is where I found the recipe. Everything else is my own work. I would appreciate you explaining your view further, please.

  • i will be making this for my sisters as christmas gifts. can i make this into a lotion, but keep the potency?

  • @dudewaitewhat Sorry lovely, I have no idea. I'm not a DIY expert - I literally just followed this recipe.

  • This is just great and sooo easy to make. Thank you for posting :)

  • @regfmcd You're very welcome!

  • Where do I buy the ph meter? Thanks!

  • @youvegotnail You did a great job on the video! I love it :)

  • I'm quite happy if people are enjoying it, but your followers should be aware that the very new "SEA" venue is quite unscrupulous... Personally I recommend folks find a more honest DIY venue for their needs like Lotioncrafter or Makingcosmetics for instance. You can PM me at EDS for any further clarification if you like (Kassy_A)

  • Sure, I'll be happy to respond.. The "Natasha" person who claims it's her recipe is lying.. The original recipe is mine, and can be found at EDS forum, which I posted more than a year ago. (The change in oil was a nice try though :) I get an error when I try to link so you'll have to look through my 100 or so recipe's for it..

  • i have a question.. where can i buy the items... is there a website to purchase these items? thank you
