  • Story of someone separated from her lover n wondering how she would react.".can I fly spreading my wings of love, can I cry my tears in his arms? Can I build a bridge of thoughts and walk on it day n nite? Can I think of all the separation and hold my hands together in worship..Do I shy away from him like a new bride..or do i think of him as my husband n b shy as a bride should be...a cry of unison of lovers is so beautiful. although they cannot say a word... thats where divinity resides."

  • @ShuaibCassim: Neither Naushad's music nor the movie by Sridhar came close to what MS Viswanathan and Bhimsingh achieved. Agreed, Sivajiganesan occasionally indulges in overacting, but all said, Rajendrakumar comes nowhere near Sivaji in acting. Not in a 100 years.

  • Only kannadasan can pen such good classic songs of high standard. no female singer other than p.suseela could have sung this song in a much better way

  • Will songs in Tamil movies see such highs again?

For the sake of Tamil, let us hope so.

  • @ChrisLawNZ Naushad touched the feet of IR. Ilayarja is the Legend.

  • True non the P series movies remade in Hindi has as good music as the original except a song or two. Please do not compare Naushad with VR as they are from two different eras. Naushad's best were in the 40s and 50s with an occasional good song or two in his 60s movies. Mughal-e-Azam was started in the 50s and released in the 60s. Naushad is in a class apart from anyone else, North or South. Maybe CR Subbaraman and SD Burman came closest to him.

  • no age

  • Top Always top

  • A soothing song to all those lovers separated and panting. P Suseela at her best.Kannadans the great see his lyrics" Pirindhavar meendrum sendhidumpodhu azhudhal koncham nimmadhi pes marandhu silayai........ Oh what a song. It brings tears, Sivaramakrishnan Hyderabad

  • Beautiful song. Very good lyrics by kandasan and well sung by melody queen Suseela amma. One of the best songs of suseela amma. Salute to her.

  • Beautiful song, unparelled music. The scenery hardly looks like switzerland but that is forgivable. The hindi version had good songs too but hardly parelled in terms of acting. It is somewhat of a pity how little our hindi brothers and sisters know of talent from south india especially older actors like Sivaji. Also just fyi Naushad listened and appreciate many melodies created by MSV, he was in fact one of MSV's biggest fans.
