  • this is not helpful at all...she's doing stitches in between the ones she's saying and making me confused....there are other videos by teresa on how to do the shell stitch and explains it very well....this lady goes way too fast

  • Seriously :( so much for 'expert' i can't understand the stitches by what she calls them and it would be helpful if you could show us the right way round. If you want help making an afghan search for 'Bethintx1'. She is very helpful and perfect for complete beginners. She also go's through step by step how to make an afghan in a 16 part video. She has her own website where you can print the afghan instructions.

Hope this helped!!! TRUST ME - Bethintx1 will help :P

  • I love this afghan, how or where can I get this pattern?

  • For me to understand this i had to watch all the videos and right it down!!!

  • I think I have it figured out:...ch164, sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 3, skip 2 ch and sc in next ch......ch 5, skip 2 ch and sc in next ch....ch3, skip 2 ch and sc in next ch. ....ch 2,skip 2 ch and sc in next ch. ( she started with 164 chains. ) I hope this helps. It took forever to figure it out!

  • Part of the problem is she is not calling the stitches the proper name, its single crochet, not single chain...a single chain would be just chaining, and if she held her hook the proper way, she wouldn't be loosing stitches either. This person is a "expert?" Have she won any contests, or wrote any articles, and a approved teacher from the Crochet Guild of America? If not, she should not be credited as a "expert"
