This is a video that sort of shows my workflow and setup with the Cintiq. And for the record, because people seem to love to complain about it, my voice is low and scratchy because I made this at 2am and was trying to keep quiet as to not wake anyone up. Sorry if it's distracting.

  • Did you just duplicate your monitor on the Cintiq, or is the picture on your other monitor in the background another view? One feature Photoshop is missing is bringing up another view window, so I can work in detail while being zoomed in, and see the whole thing in the other window zoomed out.

  • @XtremeCJYoYoFreak Photoshop has had that feature for a long time. Go to Window > Arrange > New Window for (document name). I always have a zoomed in version I work on and a zoomed out version on my main monitor so I can see how it looks overall.

  • how do i get to put photo shop and other types of art programs on it. also is it just an art device or can i also go on the internet too.

  • @Locator3000 It's literally just a regular monitor that acts as a tablet as well.

  • hows the nibs? do you need to buy new ones often? Are they wore out fast? I dont wanna buy a expensive gadget and then have to buy new nibs all the time for expensive money.

  • @catha86 I've had my Cintiq for over 3 years now and never had to purchase new nibs. That said, I'm on my last one right now, and it's getting pretty worn. Even so, nibs really aren't that expensive.

  • You are an amazingly talented artist, I must say. And everyone can shush, voice and you are sexy :]

Was going to ask what computer setup you use?

  • @Plorntco I'm a professional artist, I work and play in the same place, so I do spend more time at my desk than most people would.

  • @DeviantRahll I searched the internet for hours and couldn't find any hint at all! Thank you SO much!

Someone said in a review of the 21UX that the screen has a red pitch. Did the 12WX and 24HD come with that too?

Great reviews by the way. Would love to see more from you.

  • @Plorntco You are obviously criticizing. Why is that worth mentioning otherwise? You want to make the poster feel bad, because you are a terrible artist.

  • Wonderful. I really want a cintiq but we all know that's not going to happen any time soon. In the mean time I am going to stalk you over on dA <3 muwhahar.

  • hey you got the same tablet and monitor lol

  • Love the work, but the suit seems quite big compared to the head.Probably because i can't see the whole composition well with the movie quality. And futurama man, what can i say.Big up from holland and keep making the good stuff!

  • cool vid, I was going to get the cintiq but for the money decided to get a new iMac and the bamboo fun pen & touch medium, I mainly use my ipad2 for my digital artwork so its hard getting used to the bamboo

  • im learning this right now? What do you do with your talent? What jobs do i look for? How do you make money with your talent?
