The Ghost Lights of the Chester NJ Hookerman. Some say the lights are the ghost of a railroad worker that died while saving kids from an on coming train. Others claim it is the piezoelectric effect caused by the crushing of quartz deep beneath the earth's crust.

i went there and there are a lot of blue fire flies in that area. HOWEVER, while looking at the blue ones i show this huge red light and it looked like an upper torso illuminated by lantern light... Idk if it was just a passing car or something but thats what i saw!! im going back tonight wish me luck n_n

@crazystupidu2 The biggest one we ever saw was read also. It was directly over the bridge and illuminated the bridge enough we could see it from the parking area.

@Malcontent1 Besides my phone camera i dont have one. We went back there but nothing interesting happened. ill see if one of my friends has a camera we can use and if i get anything note worthy ill send it to you over youtube.

Actually Chester NJ is one of the safest places to live in all of the U.S. No one has been kidnapped murderd, or raiped before in that town. Nothing ever happened. It is a worried parents dream world

i read in bookes about ghost. and acording in the bookes the legand goes that there was a railraod worker named hookerman. and he was cheking the tracks fo gaps. holding his lantern the only thing to light the way. his hand got stuck in the track somehow. and a guy that was taking the night shift ran hookerman's hand and it came of. he must have died in blood lost.

I have just seen agents preforme an experiment were police stoped all cars and still the light came its a ghost thats just the only explnation
