READ DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Episode of Filmation's 1981 Mighty Mouse series.
Unavailable on home video in any form.

In 1981 production began at Filmation on what was to become, in my opinion, the best Mighty Mouse show ever. I enjoy Bakshi's interpretation very much, but this is the one I grew up with y'know?

If you have no constructive and/or friendly remarks to make, then do not comment. All spammers and bullies are deleted and blocked. These are cartoons, that I upload here on Filmation Archives, so a lot of kids will undoubtedly find it and come to visit once a week, and I do NOT want them to read nasty comments on my channels videos. Period.

  • This is actually available in a DVD set now, I just read about it in my newest issue of Wired Magazine

  • @Kreaden No, this show is not available on DVD and it's unlikely to ever BE available on DVD. I've tried leasing the rights to it myself, but due to music concerns(?!?) it wasnt possible, according to the executive in charge of business development I was talking to.

What's being released to DVD is the 1988/89 series "Mighty Mouse - The New Adventures" by Ralph Bakshi.

This version is more a satire than a straight adventure series.

  • Was this the film print quality this was in during its original broadcast?

  • @chipdrusano its a vhs rip

  • I still have this video on VHS :) It's selling for $1 Million dollars. That's right. It's fuckin rare so HAH >:D

  • What?! John Kricfalusi worked on this show? (He was a storyboard artist along with Eddie Fitzgerald.) It seems quite a few of the Filmation crew members that worked on this show migrated over to Ralph Bakshi's studio to produce the more superior "New Adventures" series in 1987.

  • Just so you know, this actually came out in the late '70s; in fact, it was September 1979. Thanks for the video, anyway.

  • LOL @ 1:03. Skeletor laugh! Alan Oppenheimer owns.

  • i grew up on these cartoons too... they just don't make'em like they used to... smh..

  • Looks like a PAL print was used for this (I can especially tell because the Viacom "V of Doom" logo at the end is obviously time-compressed.)

  • i like little nelle better than pearl pureheart because of voice acting. Oil Can Harry's voice from the original one is better too.

  • Thanks I loved this when I was young n now it's on ere I can show it 2 my niece n nephew

  • I remembered they show this show on WGN back in 85 when i was 4 years old, one of Filmation's better toons. But i still think Bravestarr, Pinocchio and the Emperor of the NIght (Which i uploaded on youtube) and Starchaser Legend of Orin are their best stuff, Pearl Pureheart is quite cute for a mouse chick.

  • i love the new adventures of mighty mouse i hope the dvd com soon
