Amazing how powerful Caruso's voice was. Even on a primitive LP from 1918 his power shines through. His voice was very rich and had a great range.

Great song! :) Caruso sings this with so much enthusiasm! I love it! It's sped up a little, though, but that's OK. This is one of his best later recordings. He made it at the right time, too: it was almost the end of World War I.

Garibaldi was a pizza maker in Naples He was known as the anchovy artist.. I never believed it and thought somehing was fishy about this story.
