Apx 15:46 on 4/28/2008; Heading north on 43 about a mile south of 120.

I hadn't noticed the SUV in front of me much, but he was about to get my attention in the wrong way. First he is tailgating and in doing so he has to keep hitting his brakes from getting "too close" by even his standards Next we see a little jig to the left. Not sure if he was getting ready to turn at the wrong place or was feeling threatened by the car on his right...both are possible. There is another little jig later, this time to the right. At this point I'm getting the feeling he doesn't know his was around and is being foolish about navigating....especially in the rain. He moves into the left turn lane (no signal), does another little jig half way in as if he changed his mind and then finishes entering the lane. Amazingly he turns into the near lane, as he should. I do the same and then change lanes to the right. He slows a little, and I'm thinking he is about to turn left into Walmart, but I have no such luck. He accelerates up and stay even with me. Finally he accelerates a bit and moves ahead (he must realize he needs to turn right). He moves into the far-right right-turn lane. I'm in the left right hand turn lane. I get a green light and start to go on, this guy changes lanes during the turn, and when I blow my horn (and swear), he doesn't react at all...maybe I need a louder horn. He ends up moving all the way across to the far left lane to get on 120. Notice he can't even stop behind the line for the red light.
Now I realize that this intersection is a little difficult, but keep your heads up folk. I don't care if your GPS says turn left...don't do it if its not safe. On the plus side, the video would have held up beautifully in court. Another clueless jerk in a vehicle bigger that his ability to handle. For all intentions, this guy crashed his car into mine, and I saved it from physically happening. You own me one buddy.

FAULTS:
Tailgating
No signal
Cut off
Speeding
Changing lanes in intersection
Stopping in an intersection
Reckless driving

  • It's raining hard enough that the reduced visibilty requires your wipers on low not intermittent. I find this to be a larger fault then the SUV. Don't go around videotaping others while you post evidence of your own violations.

  • @Iflambe2010 exactly, imo i believe the guy in the Jeep was just lost, even ive made those mistakes, not on purpose they just happen. I saw no reckless driving and if you see in his Description he puts Reckless Driving and Speeding? lol

  • That happens all the time when you get double turning lanes like that. People just drift over into the other lane because they assume it's clear and it's more convenient for them. Whenever I'm in a double turn like that, I have one eye on the road in front of me and one eye on the car beside me lol. (you seem to be watching too since you were able to stop in time).

  • I see no point of this video. If you are the owner of the jeep make a complain to YouTube so they can close his account an sue his ass. He should at least cover the license plate before posting them to YouTube. All I saw was a mistake from the jeep as he was turning. Everybody makes mistakes at least he wasn't speeding nor he caused any accident. This guy who recorded this movie is an asshole. He is either impair or handicap to drive or just and old man playing with his new camera.

  • Come to Los Angeles, you would have countless videos. Plus Road Rage in each one.

  • That's pretty sh*tty but what the f*ck makes you think I want to watch 3 and a half minutes of crap just for that. Film an accident or some road rage, something cool. You should have let him hit you, then put that on.

  • What a jackass.

  • I have a brother-in-law that drives this way. He floors it away from stoplights, tailgates, changes lanes constantly, slams on the brakes, and then comments that everyone else on the road doesn't know how to drive. He actually says things like: "that guy's a bad driver, huh?!". Then he stares at you (when he should be watching the road) like you're supposed to agree with him. Just another moron who acts like he's still in high school, and that I'll be impressed by speed and reckless driving.
