What happens to a thumb slammed in a truck door when said truck drives off...

4 days before my wedding, I had my thumb slammed in a truck door. The driver didn't notice and took off for a bit before I was able to get the door open. This is a couple months afterwards and some more of my nail is falling off. It doesn't hurt and as far as I know, everything is healing just fine.

I am (overall) actually happy for the incident. I was carrying my wedding vows at the time and ended up bleeding all over them. When I finally got inside and bandaged myself up, I checked the vows only to find that the blood had dripped and flowed around the words and not a single letter was touched.

So I take it as a sign from above that my wife and I are Soulmates.

@Wolffang780 I'm fine now. The thumbnail has grown back completely, even though it still feels "weird" and rougher than my other uninjured thumb. Married life is still a blast too! I love my wife! The pain was... manageable, but it numbed pretty quickly. By the time this video was made, it was still pretty numb but not painful at all.
