Potable water storage tank inspection.
Our drinking water is only save if the storage tanks are kept clean and free from contaminates. By using special underwater cameras inspections can be done with no water loss saving thousands of gallons of fresh drinking water. see www.ronperrin.com

  • Is that the exit pipe from 0:47 to 1:17? It looks like there's a second pipe at 1:23. I presume one fills the tank and the other is the exit. Which is which?

They're not as scary as I expected them to be. I've always been fascinated by the idea of diving in a potable water tank, but I figured the exit pipe would be pretty scary. I presume they turn it off before divers go in. Is that correct? At peak usage, I'd think it could make one hell of a whirlpool.

  • I'd be afraid of getting trapped in there! Cool video though!

  • hm, it is full of sand
