Modern Warfare 2 on Nvidia G102M

2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 . Infinity Ward

As requested by many of you guys. This is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 running on Asus K50IN laptop. Surprisingly the game is well optimized as it runs more smoothly than CoD:WaW . Graphics are also quite impressive.


Game Configuration:
1024x768 ( no AA, vsync off )
everything on
texture quality high/extra


On these settings I get an average of 21 ( +- 4 fps ) frames per second which is quite comfortable. In general this game runs smoothly and almost without lags. I think if change to lower resolution you'll get better performance, but for me it's very good. And please notice, that FRAPS reduces fps a little bit.

yes, works great on 1280x720 with high texture quality and shadows off

if k40in has the same / almost the same configuration, then no problem. the game will run very good. if you're not a demnading gamer, you can turn shadows off and get even more fps... but an average of 21 thats for sure

i play evrey think max and resoltion on 1366x768 and aa on with g105m

I change some options in Nvidia settnings, it's work better :D But, when i go in smoke, they lag's

21 average is comfortable?! o_O I would NEVER be good with that fps, i need at least 50 o_o

My friend just bought an ASUS laptop with this card and its nice to know she will be getting graphics as good as this. She's not a gamer but if she ever so chose to be, she'd have no problem getting started.

I have a dual-boot XP and 7 on my K40IN,

XP for gaming and 7 for everything else..

XP gives me more FPS when gaming than on 7.

wow... this is weird! I have the same Video Card (even higher, GeForce G105M)

But Modern Warfare was still playing veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow and i hadn't anything else on!
