@jaejunkiex As much as I like this song, I can imagine there might be a few Blues Traveler fans that might disagree with the harmonica part.

My favorite song by Blind Melon, best harmonica EVER. I'm learning it because of Shannon Hoon. RIP brother. see you on the other side!

@natasreth I gave up reading the drivel on this site buts hats off good comment ok im signing out....
I had to sign in and leave a few words. Yes, I agree that Blind Melon is one of the most under-rated bands ever and far beyond a one hit wonder. Putting aside the untamed spirit of Hoons voice, the band as a whole was exceptional. This song in particular talks to me like few other songs I have ever heard. I have been to the places the band speaks of so honestly in this song. Makes me sad and happy at the same time. RIP Shannon Hoon. RIP Russell Albright. We carry on the light.

When I was younger and used to smoke, I would call this my "day after song" because it was just a perfect reflection of that mellow feeling I had the next day. Nice to hear it again so many years later from a different place in life.
Can you fathom the amount of music we have all missed out on these years without Shannon? If what he was at 28 was amazing, what would he be today at 43? I can't even begin to imagine.
