@iexusuxei i was staying with the "carrier" aspect, but yes you are correct that its airspeed relative, whether on a moving surface or the aircraft physicaly moving

@SlTip Yes but air speed is relative .. the wind needs to be going a certain speed whether it's on a car or not. If the plane can take off at 70 -85 mph on a car it can take off at that speed on it's own.
