Just wanted to share my favorite scene from my favorite episode of this great show. Both seasons just recently came out on DVD. It's well worth buying.

Isn't this the same set location where Captain Kirk fought the Gorn on the original Star Trek?

I think so. I know that they used that location in "The Leeches", but this may be the same area.

Love that spot when I lived int he desert too. Even the Lone Ranger was filmed there and maybe Zorro. Not sure, but all the Aliens tend to live in the desert near Area 51, Dulce New Mexico, and a few other Top Secret Areas so they can land without too much intervention. Stay out of the Desert,.......! People tend to disappear there. Cell phone coverage is really bad unless you have a Satellite phone or even a CB.

Hi, the filming location in Star Trek you are referring to is called Vasquez Rocks, it has been in many films and TV. The area in this episode of The Invaders could be almost anywhere in the Southern California desert, I don't think it is Vasquez Rocks. I grew up there and one can travel for many miles in terrain that looks like this.h
