Hoping never to wake up again, soldier Lena Schmidt takes her place in a confidential international defense program. In case of a higher threat, she and the other cryogenically frozen soldiers in underground stations all over the world can decide to end the world to save humanity from suffering. Years later the system wakes her up - and there is only one vote missing to activate the bomb.

"Berlin is Silent" was more or less produced in lunch breaks at my workplace - the german uniform is from eBay, everything else is from the office supplies storage. Since we couldn't leave the office long enough, I had to edit Vanessa in digitally in the scenes which take place outside. This short was an experiment with tight timeframes - telling a story in 60 seconds and having not much more than an hour to complete a take. Set everything up, shoot, clean up and go back to my desk.
