@acdczeppelinhalen1 He uses DiMarzio YJMs and the bridge pickup is a DiMarzio HS-3 Stack, and sometimes the original vintage pickup on the middle.
There's a bunch of metal pedals/stacks that can make any guitar sound like it has humbuckers.
It's not just the pickups you hear specially in distorted guitars. But I agree, anyways now on point, i dislike this lick i love blues but more of a satriani blues. These are fine and randy rhodes is a great player but i don't like his stuff that much.

@lluuddeekkk Yngwie Malmsteen uses a single coil stratocaster and ummmm well yeah that pretty much says it all. I know Randy didn't though so maybe thats what you meant.
