This video shows a worker performing the final assembly of the HK-2221 series motors. The motors are spun up at 8.5 volts and the current is measured to make sure the motor is built correctly. For this particular model, the Io value should be 3.1 amps at 8.5 volts. After the initial test, the C-clip is installed, the proper bearing spacing is set and the set screws are tightened down onto the shaft. The motor is once again tested to make sure there is no binding in the bearings, and that the Io value is correct. After this step the motors go off to final packaging.
