Hey jackass... or DMuMajor, I'm sure you're used to both...
I've never used a charcoal grill, and rarely a gas grill... I'm 24, white, male, in Idaho a red state for christs sake... just because I fit all the demographics for being a griller... doesn't mean I know how to.
So.... chillax, and don't watch videos of people teaching you things you already know.

You should make a habit of cleaning the grill immediately *after* you use it, when it's still hot and easy to clean - not before you use it. If you clean it right before you use it, as she did, the remains of your last grilling session will burn and stink in the fire, imparting a bad flavor to your food. If you must clean the grill before you use it, wait several minutes until you can no longer smell the burning remnants of your last session before you put the food on.
