2009 Ford Escape V6 Acceleration to the Limiter

Hitting the speed limiter in the 2009 Ford Escape V6. Speed is verified by Escort 9500ci. Need to get that limiter removed. Hitting the soft limiter is really audible in the video.

Try turning the over drive off, O/D slows the car down, and saves fuel, but on an acceleration test, it helps to turn it off.

Nice sound... Are you in the beach or why that fast acceleration? I mean, I got the 2008 (slower and less powerful than 2009) in a city at 2700 meters over the sea level and I can't do that in less than 10 seconds...
