Recital Promo Clip. Classical and Romantic Music from Spain, performed by Antonio Santos (Baritone), Yonit Kosovske (Fortepiano) and Scott Grieb (Guitar). Works by Rodríguez Ledesma, Manuel García, Fernando Sor, Ramón Carnicer, Pablo Huertos and Sebastián Iradier. Indiana University (USA), Bloomington IN Jacobs School of Music, Early Music Institute, FORD-CRAWFORD HALL SUNDAY 22nd November 2009, 3pm. Free Admission

The pictures diplayed in the clip are Spanish works from the period by Goya, Bayeu, López and others. They illustrate the historic facts that our music reflects: The French Invasion of Spain and the Independence War (1808 - 1814) King Fernando VII and Queen Isabel of Braganza, 1812 Spanish Constitution and the Liberal Revolution (1821 - 1823).

The Audio is "Canción Fúnebre" by Rodriguez Ledesma, performed by Antonio Santos (baritone) and Yonit Kosovske (Fortepiano). This song was written for the burial of Queen Isabel of Braganza in 1817. She founded El Museo del Prado in Madrid
