STS 1 was the first shuttle launch the program lasted until STS 135 when it ended LONG LIVE THE SHUTTLE

i remember leaving work and getting back home as quick as possible to see this. now, i feel this big hole in my heart...the shuttle is gone, and now for some time, we will be relying on the russians to get to the "station"....sad......
