Joel Osteen Says Jesus Christ is Not the Only Way

For Osteen not to say that the unbeliever is on his/her way to burn in hell for eternity, when the vast majority of Larry King's viewers are unsaved, atheists, heathens, etc., is one of the most egregious sins a so called 'man of God' can commit.

To say that Jesus told us not to judge another person's heart is an out right lie. Jesus said that "every tree is known by his own fruit." Luke 6:44; "for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." Mat. 12:34. Jesus told us to "judge righteous judgment." John 7:24. "Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear." 1 Tim. 5:20.

Jesus said, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:" Rev. 3:19.
John said, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God," 1 John 3:2.
Paul said, "But if ye be without chastisement... then are ye bastards, and not sons." Heb. 12:8.
Jesus said to "repent." Rev. 3:19

This is not 'condemning' a person (Heb. 4:12).
When Jesus said, "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" Matt. 23:33;
and when Paul said, "thou child of the devil," Acts 13:10;
and when John said, "all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire" Rev. 21:8;
they were not condemning anyone! They were warning us!

Osteen is a motivational speaker who is using the name of Jesus Christ - "supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself." 1 Tim. 6:5

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18

Stop changing his words. He didn't say Jesus is not the only way, he just refuses to condemn and judge. He would rather speak the good news which he says he believes in in its entirety knowing that those who believe will adhere.

I didn't hear anything relating to "Christ in not the only way." what he said is true.. Who is ANYONE to judge anyone? - Only God can judge us - for he created us.

Condemnation and judging are two different things....this is due to preacher failed. Preachers for a long time and still do prefer it to roll it into one so the congregation won't pelt the preacher for poor preaching and keep people confused. You can judge but you should not condemned....condemnation comes on Judgment Day when Christ judges you in the presence of God. Know YOUR BIBLE!

As Joel mentioned that he agreed with the lady caller then later he says he believes his way? I believe Jesus was specific as to what was the way.....John 14:6. Now if I asked that question, every true Christian would have responded that they believe what Jesus said in John 14:6 and say the verse to ensure that Jesus Christ is the only WAY. For all will be judged by Christ in the presence of God not by Joel and his way.

He never said Jesus isn't the only way, but he knows that it isn't his place to judge. Why do you persists in condemning others? And THAT is exactly what it sounds like. You cannot say they are going to hell and count that as a fact. You do not know about God's mercy or his will, so why would you even say such a thing as that. THAT is what he meant. yeah joel true not jesus the way but relationship with jesus...everybody can knowing jesus believed in jesus but theres not meaning they can have a way to go to heaven but the relationship with him is the key,private relationship if i can say...some people just interprent bible in wrong way...
