John Lennon's classic Love . . .
I have sent this video out today as it is my 2 year wedding anniversary (April 25th 2010) I have always adored this track from the ease in on john's Imagine album to the ease out . . it's a hauntingly simplistic and real piece of work form a man who writes as if taking the words from your mouth and redirecting them to your soul. Lennon had that gift and thank god he shared it with the world. the sadness of his demise makes this song even more prolific yet. this is a tribute to what he has given and continues to give this world of ours. Because he has touched me so deeply, he has earned his place in my top 6 heavyweights of all time and music with Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Cash. Lennon's genius will continue to inspire and circulate the planet for all time. His words are more important today than ever, what he did as a man was nothing short of spectacular, but what he is doing as a god is simply divine . . so in this vein I try and pass on his messege, give peace a chance, the world will live as one, love is real . . real is love . .
