Haha, I remember this. I was on tech that year. Nearly impaled myself on your cymbal too, one of those nights while I was breaking down part of the set after... Anyways, still awesome. Great job last night at the 2009 Variety show! Your act actually made the thing worthwhile to go to...

You, are amazing. You actually make music with the drums, instead of just fast, loud noise. Thumbs up for young drummers like us who actually know how to play! =D

you really do have alot of variety, you are great. owen, as a drummer, i need some advice from u..... i always get on the kait and start playing, but before long, i end up finding that i cant think of any new beats, or anything really!!! do you get this? youse to get this? what can i do? thanks, you are very inspiring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much!!!! That's the best compliment I've ever gotten!!!! I totally agree with you. I can't stand listening to most young drummers. They play too many notes too close together, have no groove, no dynamics, and don't explore all the different sounds you can get out of each drum or cymbal. These kids need to put away all their unnecessary drums and cymbals and drum books and learn to just play with a minimal setup at a very slow tempo and they will become much better drummers.
