No, I never been in Afghanistan, but when I saw this dog(breed) first time I fell in love and got interested in culture where from this very old breed is from. Afghan Hounds are very dignified, very proud, very smart - they are different from other breeds.... We have had 15 years these dogs. We also have another eastern breed- Saluki (it is Iranian breed).

Their pedigrees are known very far back to Afghanistan, you can read about it if you search google. The oldest dog breeds in world;)

I fully agree that you have very beautiful country, I recently looked the photos of beautiful mountains and ceneries! You can be proud of your country just as we here love this breed of dog originally from Afghanistan.
