The First UK Based XMRV Study Has Been Published

The first study into the connection between ME/CFS and the XMRV retrovirus has just been published. It was done by the Imperial College London and used a different criteria in choosing the patient group it was testing for XMRV. Not surprisingly it didn't find XMRV.

It's so tragic ,yet so predictable that this research from the USA has been riddiculed/sidelined just as so much that has gone before. It really is almost imcomprehensible how 'Doctors' can do this to fellow human beings who are in so much anguish,pain and desperate for hope. They are not interested in sound medical evidence found in years gone by and now gathering apace..it is not in their remit to their utter unscrupulous shame. Truth is filtering out albeit slowly..it must continue to do so

I agree the IIME statement was brilliant. I don't think we'll ever get an apology (apologies are words and talk from scum is cheap) and I don't want an apology, I want them to be forced to spend a day in the life of Ean Proctor or Sophia Mirza- see how they like it!

The problem of doctors are that it's a high paid job, that other people look up to. Is that good? Well, being quite a study, and a job with such responsibility, I would say it's honest at least to give them alot of money for their job.

However, it does bring such a side effect that people are not ware about, that in fact makes half of the doctors crap doctors. The point is that half of them are not doing it to 'help' people, but because they're paid well and get looked up to. Wrong reason..

What are the odds of A Right Imperial Cock Up? Must be odds on. Why didn't the virologists stop and think, "Why are psychiatrists sending us blood samples." If the Imperial College group don't get their finding confirmed by future studies in the USA, then they are going to look like prize idiots. I predict a falling out between Imperial College London and Kings College London.

one day we will get the apology we deserve from this lot in the uk when they realise we are not imagining what is wrong with us sadly it will come to late for some of us i am a skeptical person by nature and truly a spade is a spade type i want to work and have money i want to do everything i used to and believe me i try very hard to do so and pay for it with such PAIN AND BODILY DYSFUNCTION i TRY to ignore it as much as my will will allow me WE ARE GENUINELY PHYSICALLY ILL what are they hiding
