The 996 has an antique automatic gearbox which costs arround 4 seconds from 0-200 km/h. A handshiftet version would clearly win against a 5 years younger 335. And not to forget: the 996 has 4-Wheeldrive!!! So the "lower-end" Porsches aren't slow at all....

Doesn't the 335 have about the same horsepower? it's around 300 if i'm correct. I mean, It's not that big of a difference. Probably the biggest things that matter here is the weight of the cars and the BMW being rwd and the porsche being awd

@Trystelune yeah, i know what you mean ;) and i totally agree, i thought you were some of these bmw guys, thinking the Porsches 4wd would be an advantage.

@2fight4 that's right, but the weight isn't the same, the understeering isn't the same , the handling of the car, ect.... so it would have been better to do rwd vs rwd, to avoid any discussion of the haters , you know, all theses bmw forever forza guys ;)

the 2wd 911's are faster than the AWD, theres no advantage for the Porsche in this kind of race.

result as expected, and it would have been more "fair" to take a 996 2wd, because the 335 i isn't a AWD.....
