Damn how can such a nice, humble, talented man be taken away from us, to anyone who has been to a Ronnie James Dio concert, or had the chance of seeing him, count yourselves very lucky, I sadly got to know this guy a little too late,
-
I was fortunate to meet Ronnie backstage during the Lock Up The Wolves tour. He was THE nicest guy I had ever met in music and other wise...sooo caring sooo kind...RIP RJD!!! I miss you!

'Bah humbug' Haha
-
@Yorda27 yeah i know that but at least he lived to have another xmas
-
@rgjmce666 Ya, celebrating Xmas and newyear while you know you have cancer... He had plans to make more music and tour. That, he could never accomplish.
-
@smithdsmit i was one of the unlucky ones who missed out, heaven and hell were supposed to support iron maiden in dublin but now it's such a shame that it won't happen. If it sounds like i'm complaining, i'm not. I still have all of his music to listen to :)
-
@Yorda27 this was last year, so he did get it
-
This is sad, hearing him talk about the future he'll never get. xmas eve and all, by that time Dio was already diagnosed with cancer. :(
RIP! :( May he live on through his music. Heaven and hell will stay one of my favorite metalsongs.
-
I think God may be trying to reform the classic Rainbow line up..he's got Cozy, now Ronnie...look out Ritchie !!
