Chris Economaki is the world's best-known reporter of the auto-racing scene. From National Speed Sport News to ABC's "Wide World of Sports", he's been the eyes and ears of this circuit for many years, and he shares some of these stories with Barry Meguiar. Then, guest-host Bruce Meyer talks to celebs on the red carpet during the opening night of the Million Dollar Cars exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum.Episode 8009

I really don't think most race fans realize just what a loss the motorsports world had today with Economaki's passing....Even F1 fans in America have to grieve because of his work with David Hobbs. Indy 500 fans would not have gotten such wonderful pit lane interviews over the years if it weren't for him. National Speed Sport News continues to be a force in motorsports journalism, all thanks to this great man.

We've lost the Dean of Motorsports journalism. As Andretti once said, “If he wasn’t aware of you, you simply were not a factor in the sport”....Well said, Mario. Damn right.
