The Opening Credits for the 1955 movie Starring Frankie Laine, Keefe Brasselle and Constance Towers. This was also the first movie directed by Blake Edwards. Low Budget but in color and entertaining.
The "Every Baby Needs A Da Da Daddy" production number was "revived" from a 1948 Columbia B-musical drama, "Ladies Of the Chorus", starring Adele Jergens and...Marilyn Monroe, in her first featured role in a motion picture. This was, in essence, a "programmer", and really didn't do anything for the studio or Frankie Laine's screen career, except give Blake Edwards a chance to "learn the business" [I'd love to hear his opinions on working on this film sometime..].

Never heard of this one, but I'd say the star and the director both did OK for themselves!
