  • WTF???? they make glasses one by one? that's gotta be tiring and nerve wrecking, isn't it?

  • @thekrakenism Well if you compare it to working in a factory that makes wine glasses with machines at maybe 3 per second there is no competition. This job is creative and quite satisfying. In this day and age you consider your self lucky to have a job that you can not only enjoy but love with a passion.

  • Did you make this footing tool? or where did you get one. can you send me this footing tool photos?

  • Ive added a link to some pictures of the footing tool in the description. check it out.

gotta take personality into account too, for some it'd just be annoying not fun. but im with ya, i want to make it by hand!

  • thats to cool

  • i really dig how you guys make nice knops (i think thats the word?) and such on these, the blue and the shapes are very fluid and simple, its all that i strive for out of a goblet! I'm still at the phase where i'm learning and practicing the traditional venetian assembly method, i'm so close I can taste that wine out of my first really good one!

  • @reaperette

yeah he's right, little burns happen sometimes, but we all try and avoid scorching our arms off :):)

  • @audioglass damn dude here i thought you were just a really good videographer, turns out your glass skills fade my own! keep up the good work!

  • sweet! I should buy it!

  • Yes the front and back plates are made of graphite. and they do cool the glass down a lot quicker than the wood boards. but, if you are quick enough these are the beasts! they do a perfect sized foot every time. lovely tool. bit of a learning curve on them though. but that's glass eh!
