Techno music from the late 60's early 70's. Pierre Henry made some fantastic synthesizer music and it is a must to hear for music lovers.
Track 1 is called Prologue, and track 2 is called Psyché Rock.
33 1/3 RPM vinyl LP record, which I got in 1972 and is still in very good condition. I made a stereo recording on the audio track to YouTube and hope the sound effects are not limited because the stereo of this LP effect is great.

Unfortunately when checking the YouTube upload, the code "&fmt=18" is not working which takes the great stereo effect out of the audio.
still a pleasure to listen too though.

The code "&fmt=18" did work when I put the URL in an other toolbar minus the quotation marks, and the stereo effect was great, although the record turning around has the occasional jitter in the video.

I got very interested in this track when at High School in the Netherlands, about 1972 at the Dr Nassau College, our music teacher Peke Dijkema played this on a Sony TC377 reel to reel in our class.
That triggered me to get the LP which my parents bought for me on my 12th birthday.

  • What kind of liquid have you dropped on the vinyl's surface and why?

    Awesome recording, it's a must have. ^^

  • @allertse9 Distilled water

  • @RODALCO2007 OMG And what's that exactly for? I apreciate so much your information.

  • @allertse9 Better quality playback, less crackles and it cools the stylus too, and at the same time I have a brush cleaning the dust of the grooves.

  • Finally, somebody who makes videos of records who cares about high-quality audio reproduction. I thought I was the only one. Thanks for doing it right: a steady camera and full stereo sound. Good job!

  • @DerekKnisely Thanks for the compliment, glad you liked it.

The Futurama Song was inspired by this Song ;)

  • I'm sure I heard something similar in a British soft drinks commercial about 20 years ago- I distinctly remember the tubular bell sound. But it doesn't strike me as exactly the same version. I've been trying to track it down ever since, and I'm sure it was by a French composer, written in the sixties (bound to be Pierre Henry in other words)- anybody got any suggestions?

  • Reminds me so much like Futurama o.o

  • amazing, thanks for this!

  • @MissPeacok

That's beacause the futuruama theme is a cover/remix/rip-off of this one. And that's official.

  • I LOVE IT!!!

    sounds a bit like Futurama

  • Daft Punk - Rollin' & Scratchin'

    :)))

  • It sounds like your turntable is tracking about 1.25 grams and a hair slow.

  • im not liking this version but i do respect they distilled water trick and the brush to keep the crackles out im into boombox hence why im here grandmaster flash keep up the good recordings atb daz
