  • @BlackLabelSlushie If you are interested in meditation

send me a note to my mailbox. Doing this in a public

forum is 'ego play', which I want to avoid for myself.

I started drinking when I was 13 yrs and know all of

it's 'glory' and all of its pitfalls.

If I can help someone from own my experiences,

    I'd love to help.

But, this is not my life's mission!

    Either way good luck!

  • @BlackLabelSlushie Meditation is like your favorite drink, there are many different ones, but some just are perfect for you. I learned meditation on my own. From the ground up. Using a little from different schools. I have a meditation playlist that might interest you. I'm not connected to any school, religion or organization. I'm not trying to convert anyone. Alcoholism is affected by low blood sugar and the need to fill an 'empty hole' within. Drugs are at best short term solution.
  • @fntime I've wanted to start meditation for a long time. Can I ask what type of mediation you do? Is one type better than the other for alcoholism? Thanks

  • @BlackLabelSlushie Check out Cary Grant. He was purported

to have had 200 trips. He was trying to combat alcoholism.

They are talking up LSD for alcohol treatment right now.

I have found that addiction is best treated nutritionally

and through self observation, through meditation.

If you are looking for an easy way, I think you should

    reconsider.

McKenna is not as enlightened as he thinks.

If his path is through drugs, he has already failed.

Because he is not stupid, doesn't mean he's smart.

  • Has anyone here used LSD specifically and seriously to treat an addiction? I'm open minded any information info would be appreciated (how it was done, under supervision? etc.)

  • ego death

  • @happypile *which*

  • a great mind indeed
