  • Wow!

  • Been a Peavey guy for over 30 years but I'm sorry Hartley the Vypyr was a swing and miss. I bought the Tube 60, returned it, bought the 120 and returned it. tried the 75w solid state and returned it. The sound is good enough but the latency when switching patches was far too long. My Valveking kicks serious ass and I wouldn't part with it if you held a gun to my head.

  • I love this American story, what a cool guy. I have come to respect that this guy is seriously smart. Peavey is has been making gear for us a long time now, and is damn good at it. I have a lot many nice guitars but my fav is the T-60 for tone and built to last for a long time. The Classic series amps are some of the best made period!

  • Hartley Peavey has a very good story of success in life..such an inspirational person..

  • @J1613R I'll tell ya, I've had many Peavey amps over the years, and I have a Peavey Fury bass that was given to me, long story short. If you Google Peavey Fury, you find story after story of people that bought one for like 80 bucks, maybe got new strings or switched out the pickup, and swear this bass is better than a Fender P or Jazz bass. Peavey makes good solid dependable shit.

  • Hartley is the man! Thumbs up !

  • Hartley, you made me the best bass ever made...the T-40. It is the smoothest, tastiest bass I own (and I own two vintage Fenders). My dad bought it for me back in 1990 when I was 14 years old...a very warm, gritty hi fi sound that is smooth as silk...thank you!!!

  • If ANYONE is my number one idol in life, it would be Mr. Peavey
