It was going to be back-up singers popping up and singing the character's name every time they said it - inspired (obviously) by the cosmetic surgeon.
I literally have written down here "Goodbye Dr Roberts. Back-up singers pop up and sing Dr Roberts. Dr Roberts: Oh shit, it's contagious."

You won't believe it, but on the way home from More Iguana, I had an idea for a very similar sketch. Bizarre. VERY similar. Different "affliction", but same set-up, and same punchline.
