Semisonic - Closing Time Cover

A song that I've heard and wanted to cover. As you can see I messed up a bit on the first part of the 'solo' but the rest goes on more smoothly. If anyone else here uses a ZOOM 505 ll pedal and wants to know the effect layout just message me and I will tell you. ENJOY!

was ok, aside from ur tone mate, I didn't like that at all. Also you are distorting your mic when you sing loud, your guitar is too loud for your voice and when u hit the chorus you are tyring to sing over it, dont, turn the guitar down. tone is everything, volume is irrelevant :) (assuming its loud enough to hear haha ) tweak ur tone, consider your recording and this would be pretty awesome :). And who cares how difficult hte song ur playing is, its your playing do what makes u happy

@anadalite thanks for the criticism, but I didnt sing in this song at all. What you're describing is probably my pedal. For the verses I used the same tone but with less gain, and for the chorus it was the exact same EQ settings, but with full gain. I'm not sure how you're hearing extra singing though.

Just a suggestion from one guitarist to another..... When playing this song try using a pick

good cover you should use palm muting during the chorus listen to the song and you'll see.

@GreenDayRoxer1 sry bout that bro its a better cover than what I got lol. The reason I said something was cuz my friend who also is a guitarist takes his index finger and thumb putting them together and makes a pick like that and I thought u were doing that so yeah again sry for the mix up bro and rock on.
